The Greatest Want of Soccer
Is the want of men and women who will not be bought or sold, players who are true to their practice as a needle to the pole.
The want of players who will not corrupt their bodies or minds with anything that will alter themselves.
The want of men and women who will never deface the true meaning of soccer with their bad conducts.
Players who will play with their hearts rather than with their mouths.
The want of man and woman who will train, and give an 110 percent in training and every game.
The want of players who will respect their officials even though the call was wrong! The want of players who will stand with their teams and teammates though the heavens fall.
The want of men and women who will play for honor rather than fame and fortune.
The want of man and woman who are not afraid to say,
“No- to players who have bad attitudes.”
